Scalarization of slowly rotating black holes

چکیده
It is interesting to note that most black holes are born very slowly rotating. We investigate scalarization of rotating in the Einstein-scalar-Chern-Simons (EsCS) theory. In slow rotation approximation, CS term takes a linear form parameter $a$ which determines tachyonic instability. The instability for represents onset spontaneous scalarization. shown unstable against spherically symmetric scalar-mode perturbation positive coupling $\alpha$, whereas these negative without any $a$-bound.

Slowly Rotating Non-Abelian Black Holes
It is shown that the well-known non-Abelian static SU(2) black hole solutions have rotating generalizations, provided that the hypothesis of linearization stability is accepted. Surprisingly, this rotating branch has an asymptotically Abelian gauge field with an electric charge that cannot vanish, although the non-rotating limit is uncharged. We argue that this may be related to our second find...
متن کاملThe interior structure of slowly rotating black holes
The internal structure of a slowly rotating, charged black hole that is undergoing mass inflation at its inner horizon is derived. The equations governing the angular behavior decouple from the radial behavior, so all conclusions regarding inflation in a spherical charged black hole carry through unchanged for a slowly-rotating black hole. Quantities inflate only in the radial direction, not in...
متن کاملRotating topological black holes
A class of metrics solving Einstein’s equations with negative cosmological constant and representing rotating, topological black holes is presented. All such solutions are in the Petrov type-D class, and can be obtained from the most general metric known in this class by acting with suitably chosen discrete groups of isometries. First, by analytical continuation of the Kerrde Sitter metric, a s...
متن کاملRotating hairy black holes.
We construct stationary black-hole solutions in SU(2) Einstein-Yang-Mills theory which carry angular momentum and electric charge. Possessing nontrivial non-Abelian magnetic fields outside their regular event horizon, they represent nonperturbative rotating hairy black holes.
متن کاملRotating BTZ Black Holes
We have considered the divergence structure in the brick-wall model for the statistical mechanical entropy of a quantum field in thermal equilibrium with a black hole which rotates. Especially, the contribution to entropy from superradiant modes is carefully incorporated, leading to a result for this contribution which corrects some previous errors in the literature. It turns out that the previ...
